Alex Eades, winner of the ITV Meridian East Fundraiser of the Year Award 2025, has spent nearly a decade honouring the legacy of her daughter Charlotte, who died from a glioblastoma brain tumour at just 19. Together with her son, Miles, Alex founded Charlotte’s BAG – a charity that has raised over £335,000 for vital research at King’s College Hospital. From funding a specialist lab to accelerating biopsy results for young patients, Charlotte’s BAG is changing lives.
